New students are welcome throughout the year if there are spaces available; however we encourage families to enroll in September or October for the following school year. Please schedule a tour with our Office Manager. We will happily discuss the prospect of your child attending Courtyard and will answer all of your questions about our school and the admissions process.
Admissions for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten
Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes usually fill between September-February, one year prior to your child’s anticipated start date.
TK Age Requirement – 4 years old by the start of school or September 1 (students becoming 4 years old mid-year may apply for mid-year admission and consideration for repeating TK the following year).
Kinder Age Requirement – 5 years by the start of the school year or September 1.
We will contact prospective Kindergarten parents who are on our waiting list to schedule tours and assessments. Kindergarten tours and assessments are scheduled from October through early December of the year prior to entrance.
Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten often fill quickly so we encourage you to contact us early about either of these classes.
Admissions for First through Middle School
1st through 8th grade classes begin the first Tuesday of September.
Admission to Courtyard School is based on a variety of criteria including:

- Assessment if needed
- Completed Application (offered at time of interview)
